CLOVIS, Calif (FOX26) — There is a new place for Clovis residents to take their four-legged friends.
Letterman Dog Park opened on Saturday just in time for the start of spring.
The park is located in the Letterman park on Villa Avenue.
It’s around 30,000 square feet and features separate fenced spaces for small and large dogs.
Grass areas, benches and drinking fountains for people and dogs will be located throughout the park.
This project represents the City’s commitment to the development of municipal dog parks,” said Sarai Yanovsky, Supervising Civil Engineer with the City of Clovis.
“Letterman Dog Park is a great place for dogs and their owners to spend time outside and socialize, “ said Yanovsky.
