Nearly 2 dozen dogs rescued from unsanitary conditions in Lexington apartment, officials say

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Nearly two dozen dogs were rescued from unsanitary conditions at a Lexington apartment, officials say.

Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control says they responded to a welfare concern at an apartment on Cross Keys Road Wednesday morning.

They say 22 dogs were found living in unsanitary conditions.

The dogs were immediately removed from the apartment and are now receiving care.

The owner of the dogs has been charged with neglect. Their identity has not been released.

The puppies were surrendered to Lexington-Fayette Animal Care & Control. They will be adopted through the Lexington Humane Society.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
