Multiple dogs shot and killed within one week, sheriff says

PANOLA COUNTY, Miss. – The Panola County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) is searching for the people responsible for the deaths of three dogs within a week.

According to a post on their Facebook page, PCSO is investigating the deaths of two German Short-Haired Pointers that were shot and killed around March 13, and another dog that was killed on March 17, in the Ranchette Acres neighborhood, south of Batesville.
