HORRIFIC SCENE TO YOU TODAY. ABBY. THESE DOCUMENTS TELL US THAT SIX YEAR OLD WAS BRUTALLY ATTACKED BY MULTIPLE DOGS, WAS EVEN UNRECOGNIZABLE. NOW, THE CLEVELAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT SAYS THERE WERE MULTIPLE DOGS IN THE YARD, BUT THEY’RE NOT SURE WHICH ONES ATTACKED HIM. HE DIDN’T HEAR ANYBODY SCREAMING OR YELLING. HE WENT OUTSIDE AND HE SAW SOMEONE LAYING ON THE GROUND JUST OUTSIDE THE FRONT DOOR. A FATHER AND ETOWAH WAS GIVING HIS DAUGHTER A BATH WHEN HIS SIX YEAR-OLD SON DECIDED TO GRAB A CHARGER FROM THE CAR AND WAS ATTACKED. WHEN THE MAN FOUND HIS SON, HE CALLED 911 AND IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT HE’D BEEN ATTACKED BY MULTIPLE DOGS. THEY DID HAVE FIVE LARGE DOGS AT THEIR RESIDENCE THAT WERE OUTSIDE DOGS. THE ATTACK HAPPENED HERE NEAR 1█/80 STREETAND BANNER ROAD. THE FAMILY IN THE HOME OWNED FIVE LARGE DOGS, BUT DEPUTIES SAY STRAYS COULD HAVE ALSO BEEN INVOLVED. WE’RE NOT EVEN SURE WHICH DOGS DID IT. SOME OF THE DOGS COULD HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PROTECT THE CHILD. THE SON DIED ON THE WAY TO THE HOSPITAL. DEPUTIES SAY EVEN THOUGH IT’S NOT CLEAR WHICH ANIMALS ATTACKED HIM, THE DAD FELT THE RIGHT MOVE WAS GIVING THEM UP TO NORMAN ANIMAL WELFARE, AND ALL FIVE OF THE ANIMALS WERE EUTHANIZED. THEY WERE ALL HEALTHY LOOKING ANIMALS. THEY’VE BEEN TO THE VET. THEY HAVE ALL THEIR, YOU KNOW, UP TO DATE ON EVERYTHING. IT’S JUST A TERRIBLE INCIDENT. AND THE INVESTIGATION THAT INCLUDES DHS STILL ISN’T OVER. IT DIDN’T APPEAR LIKE THERE WAS ANY NEGLIGENCE AT THIS POINT, BUT WE’RE STILL STILL AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION. RIGHT NOW, IT’S NOT CLEAR IF ANYONE WILL BE CHARGED IN THIS. LIKE LIKE THEY SAID, THEY’LL BE CONTINUOUS INVESTIGATION BEFORE THEY HAND IT OVER TO
