RUTHERFORDTON, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said multiple dogs were seized in a animal cruelty investigation on Sunday.
The sheriff’s office said deputies were made aware of possible abandoned dogs at a home. Upon arrival, officials executed a search warrant.
Deputies said multiple dogs were seized and taken by Rutherford County Animal Control.
This investigation is ongoing.
