SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – The 27th annual Mountain Valley Cluster Dog Show is an event for any local dog lover. You will see a variety of breeds from Great Danes to Toy Chihuahuas.
It’s a local, free event for your family. Besides the regular dog show, there will be Pee Wees, Trick Dog Titles, Canine Good Citizen Tests, Best Puppy, Junior Showmanship, the Treeing Walker Coonhound National Specialty, and a variety of shopping for canine lovers from dog collars to art and more.
You’ll see top dogs from all over the country (and other countries such as Canada and Mexico). This is one of many shows throughout the year in which dogs compete and campaign for top dog, culminating at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club dog show in February.
Stephanie Schneider, Roanoke Kennel Club Board member, stopped by 7@four with more info.
The event will be at the Salem Civic Center, Wednesday and Thursday starting at 8:30 a.m. and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8 a.m. Entry and parking are free.
