Monroe Co. humane society at capacity, seeking families to foster dogs

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Humane Society of Monroe County says the facility has no more room to take in dogs, and is asking the community to apply to foster a dog.

The facility took to social media Monday night and said it is at max capacity, calling it a serious problem. The facility has no more room to house and large or extra large dogs.

The crew at the humane society is asking people to foster a dog, saying they will provide everything.

“Foster home helps the ones needing just a little more socialization to gain the confidence to join a new family. So please call, if even for a few weeks, you can make all the difference,” the post read.

The humane society lowered prices last week in an effort to get some more dogs into new homes, but only two were adopted.

Those interested can contact the Humane Society of Monroe County at 734-243-3669. Learn more at the link here.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
