Minties Dental Treat for Dogs in peppermint flavor for tiny/small, medium and large size dogs are now available.
The treat is made with five natural breath fresheners: alfalfa, peppermint, parsley, fennel and dill to ensure freshness, the company noted.
“Delicious, vet-recommended treats feature a triple-action formula that helps clean teeth, freshen breath and control build-up,” the company said, noting that the unique shape and texture helps scrape away plaque and tartar as your pet chews to maintain oral health between brushings.

Ingredients include: rice flour, vegetable glycerin, water, natural chicken flavor, calcium carbonate, lecithin, tricalcium phosphate, brewers dried yeast, dried alfalfa (source of chlorophyll), parsley, fennel, dill, peppermint, cholecalciferol (source of vitamin D3) and mixed tocopherols (preservative).
Minties Dental Twists for dogs are also available in a vanilla mint flavor. The product’s unique twisted shape and texture help remove plaque and tartar while dogs chew, the company said, noting real peppermint, vanilla and parsley help freshen pet’s breath.
Dental Twists includes pork collagen to help strengthen dogs’ teeth and gums, the company said, noting the twists are free of corn, wheat and soy.
Ingredients: rice flour, vegetable glycerin, water, gelatin, natural chicken flavors, pork collagen, vanilla extract, sodium hexametaphosphate, citric acid (preservative), titanium dioxide (color), alfalfa nutrient concentrate, parsley, peppermint oil, yellow #5 and blue #1.
For cats, there’s chicken flavored Minties Dental Treats for Cats, which contain no wheat, corn, soy or artificial flavors.

Ingredients include: chicken meal, brown rice flour, tapioca starch, ground pea, pea protein, chicken fat, natural chicken flavor, dried plain beet pulp, tuna, white fish, salmon meal, brewers dried yeast, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, glucono-delta-lactone, catnip, alfalfa extract, citric acid (preservative), mixed tocopherols (preservative), sodium hexametaphosphate and rosemary extract.
