Teresa Robinette, 44, of Varney and Marshal Lee Matthews, 32, of Delbarton have each been charged with four counts of animal cruelty, according to criminal complaints filed in Mingo County Magistrate Court.

The complaints said Thursday, animal control responded to a complaint regarding dogs who appeared to be “malnourished and neglected.”

Animal control reached out to Mingo deputies after finding dogs with visible ribs that were detained with “no food or water, and no adequate shelter near,” court records said.

Deputies noted the dogs were removed from the residence.

Robinette and Matthews are being held at Southwestern Regional Jail and bail has been set at $4,000.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
