Middletown police search for information on dogs dumped on roadside

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WXIX) – Middletown Police are looking for information about a pair of dogs that were found on the 3400 block of Tytus Avenue Wednesday night. They say a third dog died in the area.

FOX 19 spoke with the woman who first reported them.

She wanted to remain anonymous, but she explained that it was around 8 p.m. when she first spotted one of the dogs.

She said the dog was friendly and jumped into her car. Up the road right outside of a pet boarding site, she saw a cage and another dog.

She described that dog as being small with brown and black fur. She said it looked similar to a Yorkie.

That dog ran off and was killed after being hit by a car.

A third dog was later spotted running around the area. Animal control was able to recover the two surviving dogs and is now investigating.

The woman said that the pet boarding facility does have security cameras that will be reviewed.

Anyone with information about the incident and anyone who recognizes the dogs is asked to call 513-320-5240.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
