Message from West Richland’s K9 Polar to not abandon dogs

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. – West Richland Police and K9 Polar are reminding people about the consequences of animal abandonment.

In a Facebook post, a message from K9 Polar says he’s cracking down on animal crime against “irresponsible humans.”

He’s asking anyone witnessing animal abandonment to write down the vehicle’s license plate and/or turn video/photos to police.

Violators of animal abandonment laws are subjected to a fine of up to $5,000 and/or up to a year in jail.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
