Two men face charges after killing two hunting dogs in Nassau County, authorities say.

NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, Fla. — Two men were arrested and charged with animal cruelty after killing two hunting dogs in Nassau County Thursday, according to the sheriff’s office.

The incident happened at a property in Bryceville. According to statements the victim made to the sheriff’s office, the suspects Bobby Pike and James Wilson approached the victim’s home and began banging on the door and yelling.

When no one responded, the victim told deputies Pike and Wilson drove ATVs through the victim’s yard before firing shots at the victim’s dog kennel.

When deputies responded to the scene, they found two hunting dogs that had been shot and killed.

Pike and Wilson were arrested and charged with felony animal cruelty. The sheriff’s office said Wilson was already a convicted felon prior to the shooting and was illegally in possession of a firearm.

Animal control will be conducting necropsies on the dogs to support the investigation by the sheriff’s office.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
