Meet the North Jersey adoptable pets of the week for Jan. 10: Cody and Collins

Meet NorthJersey.com’s adoptable pets of the week for Jan. 10!

Each week, NorthJersey.com would like to highlight adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues.

If you foster, work at, or volunteer with a North Jersey animal shelter or rescue and know of some animals who are in need of a loving fur-ever home please send a photo, description and adoption information to amwallace@gannett.com to have your adoptable pets featured in the next edition.

This week we are featuring Cody and Collins from Home for Good Dog Rescue, a 100% foster based, New Jersey dog rescue headquartered in Berkeley Heights.

Cody

Cody is available for adoption through Home for Good Dog Rescue.

Cody is a 3-year-old wirehaired terrier mix with a big heart and boundless energy. He was rescued from Swainsboro, Georgia and is now ready to start the next chapter of his life with a loving family. Despite a rough start with a neglectful owner, Cody’s spirit has not been broken.

At 38 pounds, this playful pup loves to make friends, explore on walks and zoom around the yard. He has a goofy, sweet personality and adores snuggles after playtime.

Cody would thrive as the star of a home with a fenced yard or an active family.

Collins

Collins is available for adoption through Home for Good Dog Rescue.

Collins is a 2-month-old labrador retriever and dachshund mix. He was rescued form Barnwell, South Carolina with his brother Creech and is so happy to have a chance to find his forever home.

Collins is a playful and happy pup who loves making friends – human and canine alike. At just 10 pounds, he is full of heart and ready to fill your home with love and joy.

Collins and Cody are both neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and microchipped.

If you are interested in Cody or Collins, visit the Home for Good Dog Rescue website at https://homeforgooddogs.org/adopt/ to fill out an adoption application. Through the rescue’s website, you can also find a list of all of the available dogs as well as more information.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
