It could be the perfect time to adopt a dog whether you’re looking to become a first-time pet parent or want to expand your family.
The MSPCA said that a large drop in adoptions nationwide has resulted in an overpopulation of dogs in shelters. MSPCA adoption shelters are at 90% capacity.
That’s why, in an effort to find every eligible dog a loving home, the MSPCA is launching “Mass Saves.” The week-long adoption event will take place from Monday, July 15 to Sunday, July 21.
During this week, the MSCPA will be waiving adoption fees for dogs 1-year-old and older at shelters across the state.
The following shelters are participating in the “Mass Saves” event. You can click on each shelter to see which dogs are up for adoption and adoption hours.
