INDIANAPOLIS — Columbus North opened its softball season Monday with a 4-3 loss at Living Water HomeSchool.

The Bull Dogs took an early lead with three runs in the top of the first, but the Marlins scored single runs in the first, third, fourth and seventh to claim the victory.

Summer Williams went 2 for 3 with a double, and Payton Morris went 2 for 3 for North. Morgan Jarvis and Lily Retz each had a double.

Bailee Scruggs and Morris combined on a six-hitter with nine strikeouts and six walks.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
