Man wanted after starving, dead dogs found at NC home

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said a man is wanted on felony charges after they investigated a report claiming multiple dogs had been abandoned.

On Jan. 12, deputies executed a search warrant at a residence where they found multiple dogs that were severely malnourished and ill. Two dogs were dead when investigators found them.

Deputies said they determined the dogs’ owner was Michael Alan Swink, but he had not been seen in over a week.

Swink is wanted on six counts of cruelty to animals. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 286-2911 or Rutherford County Crimestoppers at (828) 286-TIPS.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
