The wife of Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana had her £62,000 designer handbag and Rolex watch stolen in a terrifying robbery, it has emerged.
Melanie Kamayou, 25, was said to have been targeted in the car park of an upmarket Italian restaurant in leafy Alderley Edge, dubbed the ‘Knightsbridge of the North’.
The thief made off with her Hermes Birkin handbag and the expensive timepiece on March 29.
Liam Ross, 25, from the Wibsey area of Bradford, West Yorks., has been charged with the high-value robbery, the Daily Mail reports.
He was also charged with the supply of cannabis and is due in Chester Crown Court in May.

She regularly poses with high-end handbags, including Birkins, which are widely considered the rarest and most sought-after in the world and can go for hundreds of thousands of pounds. The most expensive Hermes Birkin bag sold for a jaw-dropping £1.5 million.
She married Cameroonian international Onana two years ago and moved to the UK when he signed for the Red Devils in a £47million deal from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023.
He’s since made 92 appearances for the Red Devils, including in their 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.
The couple now live in Alderley Edge, where the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney have all called home in the past.
The bougie village, just 12 miles from Manchester, still attracts Premier League superstars and is regarded as one of the most desired destinations in the north for the rich and famous.
