SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A grand jury has indicted a man for the murder of a woman in Savannah.
Cristhian Almendares-Perez was indicted with malice murder and three counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.
In March 2025, Savannah Police responded to reports of a stabbing in the 10000 block of Middleground Road.
When officers arrived, they found Rosalinda Garcia suffering from stab wounds. She was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
The three charges of aggravated cruelty to animals stems from Almendares-Perez killing three different dogs.
