A man has been arrested after allegedly leaving two dogs outside in the heat for multiple days in Fort Myers.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, deputies responded to a home on Third Avenue to investigate an animal cruelty case.

Detectives discovered that 66-year-old Thomas Byers had been leaving a dog outside for multiple days in a kennel without food or water.

Byers was found at his home, where a second Chihuahua was found in a kennel outside.

The second puppy was surrendered.

Byers was arrested for two counts of animal cruelty.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
