Man arrested for animal cruelty involving more than a dozen dogs.

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) – A man faces animal cruelty charges after officers discovered 14 dogs in poor condition.

The incident occurred yesterday morning in the 100 block of West Olive St., where a caller reported multiple dogs needing urgent care.

When officers arrived, they found more than a dozen dogs malnourished.

52-year-old, Andrew Diaz, was arrested at the scene and charged with animal cruelty as the owner of the dogs.

Animal Control took custody of the dogs and they were taken to the animal shelter.
