Madison Police cite woman after pack of loose dogs bite 8 people

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A pack of dogs bit at least eight people as they were running loose Monday night at an eastside gas station, the Madison Police Department reported.

MPD said 10 dogs were reportedly biting people after 6:30 p.m. at the Kwik Trip on the 4800 block of American Parkway.

Multiple officers responded to the gas station to try to get the dogs under control. MPD reported officers needed to use pepper spray because of the aggression showed by the animals.

It took about two hours to get control of the dogs. MPD said officials took the animals to the Dane County Humane Society.

Officials cited a woman in her 40s with 15 city citations and referred one criminal offense.

Among those bitten included a Madison Police Dept. sergeant and Madison Fire Department firefighter. No one was seriously hurt, MPD added.

The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
