Louisiana Woman Killed By Dog While Pet Sitting

A Shreveport woman was killed over the weekend in an attack by a neighbor’s dog she was caring for, according to the Caddo Parish coroner.

59-year-old Joni Hatcher was found inside a home in the 7800 block of Womack Road in Shreveport just after 11:30 am on Sunday, July 7.

Hatcher was last seen alive the night before around 8:00 pm by a neighbor who saw her checking her mailbox.

Investigators were told by a neighbor that Hatcher had been caring for the dogs while the homeowner was away.

The coroner said her injuries were consistent with an attack by an animal, possibly a dog or dogs.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
