TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE PUPS WHO NEED A HOME. YEAH, MARDI PAWS IS HELPING SAINT FRANCIS ANIMAL RESCUE IN TYLERTOWN, MISSISSIPPI TO WELCOME 40 DOGS AND TEN CATS. THEY NEED A NEW HOME DUE TO THE FLOOD WATERS. AND WITH ALL THESE ANIMALS, THE SHELTER NEEDS HELP. AS WELL. NOW THEY ALREADY HAVE OVER 150 ANIMALS ON PROPERTY, AND ADDING THESE NEW FURRY ADDITIONS WOULD PUT THEM AT MAX CAPACITY. SO A SPECIAL ADOPTION EVENT WILL BE HELD AT CANSECO’S MARKET ON METAIRIE ROAD, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26TH. OH MY GOSH, HOW CAN YOU SAY NO TO ALL THOSE CUTE LITTLE FACES? Local animal advocacy group Mardi Paws is teaming up with local rescue groups to help rescue animals from flooded shelters in North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. St. Francis Animal Sanctuary in Tylertown, Mississippi, received 10 dogs and 10 cats from the Blue Ridge Humane Society in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and 15 dogs from the Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. The animal sanctuary already has 150 animals on the property and these news additions would put them at max capacity. A special adoption event will be held at Canseco’s Market on Metairie Road on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
