Lollypop Farm is cutting dog adoption fees for December.
Adoption counselors will be on hand to help match you with a dog that best fits your house.
Lollypop says many dogs at the shelter have been waiting months to find a home.
All adult dogs will be 50% off and senior dogs 6 years or older will be free.
“Not that puppies aren’t great,” Lindsay Brewer from Lollypop Farm said. “[With] older dogs, you already know their personality. You know what’s to come. They might know their tricks already. They’re already housebroken and they’re more likely to be snugglebugs if you’re looking for someone more low-key. [For] a lot of older dogs, it’s kind of a myth. A lot of dogs still love to play. “
You can either walk in between 11 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday or make an adoption appointment.
