Local shelter to host ‘March of Dogs’ parade featuring costume contest

BOLIVAR, Tenn. — Bring your friends, family and pups!

Get ready for the March of Dogs on October 26, located on 913 West Market Street in Bolivar. This free event helps Hardeman Adoptable Animals spread awareness for pet adoption.

There will be a parade and a costume contest, but not for you, for your fur baby. They will also have carnival rides, food trucks, and live music. All dogs, big or small, are welcome to join.

“There’s no entry fee to be in the parade this time, and whether you have a dog or not we invite you to join in,” said Cindy Hamrick, volunteer with Hardeman Adoptable Animals.

This year’s theme is a country western so be sure to bring your cowboy boots and hat.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
