The Maine Lobster Festival announced a new event for its 2025 lineup which organizers say is “pawsome” – a dog show, complete with a costume contest and parade around the festival grounds.
The inaugural dog show is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. on the main stage, located at the Maine Fisherman’s Memorial Pier. From there, the pooches will parade around the festival grounds, then return to the stage for the main event.
