Liberty Farmers 4-H club donates to Dog Pound

Submitted News

The Liberty Farmers 4-H Club toured the Adams County Dog/Kennel Pound in West Union on May 25.

Members brought dog food and treats. Club Vice-President Louella Fletcher presented a check to Pound Assistant Cassie Creamer for $150 that the club members voted to donate from their club Treasury for Dog Warden Donnie Swayne to purchase supplies needed for the many dogs currently in the pound.

The club members in attendance played with the puppy Simon and met other dogs in the pound.

Club members present were Destiny Grooms, Sierra Centers, Samara Nechting, Briazia Nechting, Yazael Nechting, Mnenetha Hoop, Jaxton Young, Parker Young, Louella Fletcher, and Brenna Lyons-Fletcher. Advisors present were Scott and Karen Grooms, Sherri Centers, Samuel Kimmerly, Jr. and Linda Kimmerly. Parents/visitors in attendance were Margie Yates, Angie Nechting, Lisa Hoop and Terry Fletcher.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
