LEXINGTON, N.C. — On July 1, Davidson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a Lexington home on First Circle, with reports of dead dogs on the front porch.
Deputies say investigation revealed that homeowner Christopher Mullins was responsible for the deaths of both dogs. Responders seized an additional 12 dogs from this home.
Mullins was arrested on two Felony animal cruelty charges, 14 Misdemeanor animal cruelty charges, and a local ordinance charge. Mullins made a first court appearance on July 2.
