Konovalenko wins weight class, Bull Dogs take sixth

Columbus North’s Vika Konovalenko, shown with coach Lindsey Prozanski, won the 120-pound weight class at Tuesday’s New Albany Girls Holiday Invitational.

NEW ALBANY — Vika Konovalenko won the 120-pound weight class Tuesday to lead the Columbus North girls wrestlers to a sixth-place finish out of 16 teams in the New Albany Girls Holiday Invitational.

Aubreigh Campbell placed third at 155 for the Bull Dogs. Fatima Aguilar Castillo took fourth at 235.
