Kids invited to join sled dogs for rides in Agassiz Park

Copper  Dog might be a couple of months away. But the fun and excitement will start to build after Saturday. With some snow in the forecast, and dogs ready to pull a sled or two, Copper Dog’s organizers invite kids to the CopperDog Kids Dog  Sled Rides in Agassiz Park.

The event on Saturday has invited Tom Bauer the Otter River Sled Dog Training Center, and the Michigan Tech Mushing Club to facilitate rides. The event will also have refreshments sponsored by 5th and Elm Coffeehouse, Pat’s Foods, Sudae in the Park, and Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital.

Those interested in learning more about the Copper Dog 150, and the free kid’s sled dog rides on Saturday in Agassiz Park starting at noon, can find more details here.

The rides will begin at 12 pm, and run until 2 pm at Agassiz Park in Calumet. The park is located along Fourth Street near the Agassiz Football Field.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
