Brits are ‘losing their minds’ over a seemingly-simple brainteaser designed for children.
Puzzles are a great form of mental exercise, and have even been proven to help improve concentration levels and attention spans by positively impacting the central nervous system. However, they can also lead to family rows, and this fiendish brainteaser is no exception.

The image above shows 11 brightly-coloured handbags, and you’ll need to find the two matching ones to prove you’re a mini Einstein. From what appears to be a picture from a kids magazine, this baffling puzzle was posted on Reddit, and resulted in hundreds of users going ‘insane’.
We’re not going to give you a single clue for this one. After all, it’s designed for children so you shouldn’t be struggling. If you want an extra challenge, try solving the puzzle in less than 30 seconds.

Many Reddit users couldn’t seem to work out the correct answer for the handbag brainteaser, but some concluded the right answer is the bottom left bag and the second-down bag on the right. These both have the same handle and shape, and have a heart design in the centre. The trick here is that they’re not the same colour, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not matching.
“Same exact bag. It’s just another colour scheme,” one user guessed. Another agreed, commenting: “Both have arched handles, same shape bag and flap with a heart and striped, but they are different colours,” while a third added: “I’m not colour blind but that is the only thing that comes close to a match on design and styling, excluding colour.”
