K-9 officer spots stranded dog stuck in 20-foot tree in Tennessee post-Helene

K-9 Officer Kari, a 5-year-old bloodhound from the Murfreesboro Police Department in Tennessee, saved a dog that was stranded on top of a 20-foot-tall tree.

Police said they were helping the Kingsport Fire Department with the community’s destruction amidst the aftermath of Helene, specifically helping find flood casualties,on Wednesday.

During the search, K-9 Kari began barking uncontrollably to alert the search team that a dog was perched high in a tree, laying on a pile of debris.

The fire department was able to rescue the stranded dog.

With the help of their local animal control, it was reunited with its owner.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
