
CHANEL has unveiled JENNIE as the newest face of its Chanel 25 handbag campaign, joining fellow pop star Dua Lipa whose campaign was revealed in January.
The K-Pop sensation, and newest face of CLASH 130 (available to pre-order here), is a seasoned Chanel ambassador, appointed in 2017 and named the face of Chanel Coco Crush in 2021, the bag campaign follows years of legacy Chanel moments and show-stopping front row appearances.
Jennie’s campaign ushers in the next phase of the Chanel 25 handbag as the brand embraces a more carefree and contemporary approach to design and an adaptable bag that can be worn in a multitude of ways for everyday takes centre stage. A minimalist photo series by David Sims captures Jennie with four iterations of the bag in black, white and metallic leather and denim.

A music style video by Gordon von Steiner accompanies the image campaign, featuring JENNIE as she moves around the vibrant streets of Manhattan to the soundtrack of She Drives Me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals. “With this iconic 90s pop song, it feels like a short music video capturing the streets of New York. I hope everyone who sees the campaign feels a sense of freedom and positive energy.” Jennie says.
