COLLINS, Miss. (WDAM) – Organizers of the Okatoma Festival are finalizing plans for the event.
The headline artist for the 36th annual festival, to be held May 3, is Jacob Arnold & The Bird Dogs.
The festival will include a parade, a car show, two stages of live music and more than 150 arts, crafts and food vendors.
Organizers are accepting vendor applications right now.
“If you have been a vendor before, you get priority, as some people have been there for awhile and people know where their booth is, if they want a certain item,” said Marie Shoemake, Covington County Chamber of Commerce executive director.
“We have a great crowd, we always have a few vendors (who) are coming, so get your applications in early if you want to be on the courthouse lawn.”
For more information about applying for a vendor spot, go to covingtonchamber.com or call (601) 765-6012.
This year’s festival also will feature a 5K run/walk, several fair rides and a petting zoo.
