MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – An Irvington man is charged with two counts of aggravated animal cruelty charges after allegedly starving two dogs, causing one of them to die.
Court documents reveal 22-year-old Marlon Sengaroune did not provide food or water, proper shelter or veterinary treatment for his two dogs, which ultimately caused a female corgi to die. The documents also show a second dog was found to be severely ill, had prolonged pain and suffered.
Jail records show Sengaroune was arrested and booked into Metro Jail on Jan. 17.
Sengaroune had a $5,000 bond and has since been released.
He’s due in court for a preliminary hearing on April 14.
