Iowa City Animal Services looking for two dogs involved in biting incident

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – Iowa City Animal Services are looking for two dogs involved in a dog bite investigation.

It happened Thursday at around 12:40 p.m. in the 2900 block of Creighton Street. That’s right next to Lemme Elementary.

City officials said a person was walking when they were knocked to the ground by two large dogs, a bitten by one of them.

Iowa City Animal Services said the dogs are described as Pit bull mixes.

One is a brown color. The other is black with some white fur.

It’s believed the black dog bit the person.

Animal services said they want to find the dogs, so they can check if they’ve been vaccinated for rabies.

Anyone with information regarding the dogs should contact Iowa City Animal Services at 319-356-5295, or the Iowa City Police Department at 319-356-6800.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
