Info sought about abandoned dogs in Bethany

BETHANY, CT (WFSB) – Animal control said it is looking for information about two dogs that were abandoned in Bethany.

Woodbridge Regional Animal Control said the two bullys were found on Brooks Road off of Downs Road in Bethany on April 16.

It said a male red bully had a stitch in its left ear, which has been removed.

The other dog was described as a female blue bully.

Both were infested with ticks, animal control said.

It said the dogs would be available at a later date.

Anyone with information about who abandoned the dogs was asked to contact Woodbridge police at 203-389-5991.
