COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Idaho Disaster Dogs Search and Rescue K9 Eagle celebrated his first birthday Thursday.
Eagle joined the disaster dogs in late 2023 as a recovery and emergency response dog. The Coeur d’Alene Fire Department takes care of Eagle when she isn’t responding to emergencies.
Idaho Disaster Dogs Search and Rescue assists in disaster situations not just in Idaho, but across the US, including Hurricane Helene.
