
The Ice Dogs completed a sweep of the Anchorage Wolverines on Sunday with a 5-3 victory in their final meeting of the regular season. The triumph secured a winning record in the head-to-head series, giving Fairbanks their seventh victory in 12 matchups against their rivals.
After scoring five goals in Saturday’s win, the Ice Dogs matched that total in the second game, bringing their scoring average to 5.0 goals per game over their last five outings.
