The Ice Dogs kicked off the first of three games against the Minnesota Wilderness for their Stick It To Cancer series on Thursday. Three unanswered goals through the first two periods made the difference in a 3-2 win.
“I thought we started out really well and things started to go a little downhill from there,” Ice Dogs head coach Ryan Theros said. “Not so much on the effort side of it, but systematically and sticking to the details more than anything else… it was not really bad, just kind of boring [at times] to be honest and that’s not our type of game.”
