The Fairbanks Ice Dogs’ Caden Pendo was recently awarded the NAHL Community Service Award for the 2023-24 season. The award is one of 13 individual honors given out by the league as voted on by the league’s head coaches, the NAHL board of governors and front office.
“It was an awesome honor to receive that from the NAHL,” Pendo said of winning the award. “The community in Fairbanks is just unbelievable. All the fans and the support I get from them, it’s truly unbelievable, and to kind of give back to them is a good feeling for sure.”
