The Humane Society of Adams County is asking for help in finding homes for two of their longest-held dogs.Bailey and Uno are two brothers who have been in the shelter for almost two years.HSAC says that Bailey was seized due to an embedded collar back in December 2022. His neck was visibly infected. HSAC says it found him to be cowering in his dog box while his big brother Uno protected him.At HSAC, Bailey was then treated for his wounds. His collar had to be cut away due to skin growing around it. His neck was subsequently flushed, treated and bandaged.HSAC says that Bailey still has a sizeable scar from his infection but it does not cause him pain. Regardless, harnesses are not recommended with Bailey so that his skin does not get rubbed or tugged on.According to HSAC, Bailey has the temperament to be an emotional support dog. He is good with female dogs, older children and cats.A few days later, Bailey’s big brother Uno also came to HSAC after being seized.Uno is described by HSAC as a lover of soccer and chasing balls. He enjoys long walks and human interactions.HSAC says that Uno would likely be best suited for an owner who is active, like him. He is also described by HSAC as a smart and witty dog. Both dogs are fully vetted and vaccinated and are on regiments of Nexgard PLUS, a dietary supplement that helps to keep fleas and ticks away.More information about Bailey can be found here, while more information about Uno can be found here. The dogs, while brothers, do not have to be adopted together. Those interested in adoption can contact HSAC at 937-544-8585. There is a $75 adoption fee.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
