HUGO, Okla. (KXII) – The City of Hugo is cracking down on aggressive dogs after four separate attacks Monday.
Hugo police said during one instance, a pit bull jumped a fence and tried to attack one of the officers investigating.
The department warned residents that if their animal leaves their property and bites someone, they will be held criminally liable, and they may face jail time.
A few days earlier, three dogs attacked a woman in nearby Grant, and she was flown to a Dallas hospital.
