House fire displaces four people, two dogs near Silver Lake

Investigators have not determined how the fire started.

SILVER LAKE, Wash. — Four people and two dogs were displaced from a home Monday evening after a fire near Silver Lake.

South County Fire was called to a home in the 11400 block of 51st Ave SE just after 6 p.m. for reports of a fire. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said a man outside the home when firefighters arrived was taken to Providence Medical Center. A spokesperson for the agency believes the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.

The Red Cross NW said in a post on X that four people and two dogs were displaced following the fire. Volunteers will be assisting the people affected.

Investigators have not determined how the fire started.
