CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Beautiful Lake Chabot will be the setting for a National Night Out event hosted by the East Bay Regional Park District.
The goal of the free event is to celebrate and strengthen community ties.
Everyone is welcome to attend. In fact, the park district encourages you to bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a fun night out in the park.
Planned activities include:
- Meet the Police Horses
- See Fire Trucks
- Enjoy Hot Dogs & Refreshments
- Talk with First Responders
- Fun Projects for Kids
- Take Pictures at the Photo Booth
- Live DJ
- Free Parking
Take this opportunity to meet the Park District’s public safety officers, firefighters, lifeguards, and park rangers who are all instrumental in keeping the community safe.
Visit with Park District naturalists at the Mobile Visitors Center and learn about the nature exhibits on display.
Stroll around Lake Chabot and enjoy the lake’s serene beauty.
The Park District’s National Night Out celebration at Lake Chabot will take place from 4-7 p.m. on
Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Lake Chabot Regional Park is at 17600 Lake Chabot Road, Castro Valley, 94546.
Parking fees will be waived for the event starting at 3 p.m. Carpooling, biking, and walking to the park are encouraged.
The Lake Chabot Marina Café will be open for extended hours for dinner, snacks, ice cream, and more.
