Uncle Louie, a 5-year-old cat, is available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. He was brought in through the humane officer after living in pretty bad conditions. He is a very sweet boy who likes to be petted and cuddled. He does well with the other cats in his adoption room. He is neutered and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
Izzee, a 5-year-old American bully/boxer, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. She was recently surrendered back to the shelter through no fault of her own, due to her owner’s declining health. Her owners are very sad that she’s back and she was well loved in her home. She is on a sensitive skin and stomach diet and was brought in with lots of toys and a bed. She sits in her kennel and whimpers for her owners. Her previous owners recommend that she not go into a home with children younger than toddler age just due to her size and strength, not due to any sort of aggression issues. She did not live with cats or dogs so the shelter can temperament test her with those for an approved application. Since she was in a home for years, she is potty trained but will probably need a refresher once in a new home. She is spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives. The shelter is closed on Thursday. The phone number is 330-343-6060 and the website is www.tuschumanesociety.com.
