Hot dogs, cool cats: Peanut and Margot need a second chance on life

Peanut, a 13-year-old cat, is available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. Sweet little Peanut was surrendered after her owner went into a nursing home. She is a quiet girl who keeps to herself and previously lived with other cats. She is petite at only 6.5 pounds, but she would benefit from adding a bit of weight as she is quite thin (not to worry, the shelter staff is good at making animals fat). She is spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives.

Margot, a 5-year-old dog, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. She was found as a stray and brought into the shelter. She is a typical lab ‒ bouncy, energetic and loves being outside. She seems to do well with other dogs, and we can cat test her for an approved application. She is scared of storms and was quite upset at the recent week of storms we had. She is spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives. The shelter is closed on Thursday. The phone number is 330-343-6060 and the website is www.tuschumanesociety.com.

The Favicon for the website, dogsandpurses(dot)com, features an all-black background with a minimalist line drawing of a puppy's head poking out of a stylish purse. The puppy's head is drawn with a cute and friendly expression, making it the focal point of the design. The purse, which the puppy is emerging from, is depicted with clean, elegant lines. The contrast between the black background and the white line drawing creates a striking and modern look for the Favicon.
