Glinda, a 10-year-old cat, is available for adoption at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE in New Philadelphia. Glinda was surrendered due to her owner moving. It’s always very sad to see senior kitties end up in shelters, especially for reasons like this. She is doing fairly well, thankfully, and hasn’t quit eating like so often with other senior cats. She does well with the other cats in her adoption room and likes to be petted. She is spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
Maple Mae, a 2-year-old mixed breed dog, is available at the Tuscarawas County Humane Society Animal Shelter. She was seized by the humane officer after living in truly terrible conditions with three other dogs, oodles of cats and a child of unknown age. She is a sweet, bouncy girl who gets the zoomies and loves to play. She does well with other pets and loves women. She needs a little more time to get used to men before she feels safe. This is a pretty common issue, and she’ll come around with time. She is spayed and current on vaccinations and preventatives. The shelter is closed on Thursday. The phone number is 330-343-6060 and the website is www.tuschumanesociety.com.
