HORN LAKE, Miss. (WMC) – A Horn Lake man was arrested and charged with having sex with a dog.
Tristan Pipkin, 26, was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of unnatural intercourse with a dog.
Pipkin was arrested by Horn Lake Police Department, who seized evidence that included footage of the incident, on February 7.
Pipkin has since been released on a $5,000 bond.
“We take all forms of abuse, including animal abuse, with the utmost seriousness,” said District Attorney Matthew Barton, “Cruelty cases involving pets are disturbing at their core, but this one is particularly repulsive, and we will work tirelessly to ensure justice is served here.”
The dog was removed from his care.
If convicted, Pipkin faces up to 10 years in prison.
