
HOLYOKE, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – Three suspects, who are accused of breaking into a home, destroying property, and stealing two dogs inside, have been arrested by Holyoke Police.
According to Holyoke Police Chief Brian Keenan, officers responded to an apartment on St. Jerome Avenue on Saturday. The suspects had fled, but the victims said their home had been ransacked and their dogs were missing.
The suspects’ car was later spotted and pulled over by police near Beech and Appleton Streets. The two dogs, a American pitbull and French bulldog puppy, were found inside the vehicle.
The driver, 19-year-old Samuel Cardona, and passengers, 20-year-old Christalee Guzman and a 15-year-old boy, were all arrested.
Police said the suspects were known to the victims. Cardona and Guzman are facing multiple charges, including a felony charge for breaking and entering. The name of the juvenile will not be released due to this age.
